Our conversations in the car-me, Jackie and Acker have been revolving around relationships since Jackie started it :)
So ...somehow we ended up talking about...
I told Acker I've never been in a relationship before, when he was saying about his run of bad luck with dating the wrong kind of girls.And he paused before saying anything, and finally, gapped the silence and said 'I'm 30'. I laughed. I think I made him feel *old* - lol.I told him this morning, that on the night of our class post-exams party, I am going to buy him drinks. That's the least I owe him anyway, for letting me hitch a ride with him everyday to the hospital :)Anyway, upon an hour of being in the hospital, the meeting room was filled with a sweet-smelling aroma, rich with a mouth-watering chocolate waft.Dr Sadek brought his famous banana chocolate-chip bread which was fresh and hot, Dr Svitlana brought lil chocolate coated truffles, Dr Lee brought homemade chocolate chip muffin...Yum! How to eat healthily? Tell me ?!Then, I went off to rounds and Dr Khan ordered a huge platter of fruits and another of veggies with an appetizing spinach dip.Oh god, I had a lot to eat within that 2 hours!Then, Acker paged. Jackie and I ran down and we left for class at noon. Today's class was on psychopharmacology... Surprisingly, all the stuff I learnt from Yeoh Peng Nam's Pharmaco class(yes, that long lecture about receptors and neurotransmitters) - I managed to regurgitate... much to the disbelief of my own self. LoL, and probably to my own classmates as well ;)And then, ran off to library for half an hour. And I bumped into Dr Eeles, my old staff doctor on MTU- we had a nice long chat.It's been so long since I've seen him. So good to catch up.Then, I ran off to Cathy at the IWK hospital. To get my last blood work done for the HPV vaccine trial.Turns out I get paid $80 for that too :)Wicked.An absolutely great day :) Am on call tomorrow!

Dr.Khan makes sure I eat a lot in Psych...And persistently asks me to 'Eat' and points to all the food that's on the table.Dr Sam is another wonderful guy.Always teaching at any opportunity he has. I have learnt so much...Jackie, Acker and I- were squabbling about boys in general...How if they're interested in pursuing girls, they should put in more effort...Acker kept on saying 'Geez, you girls...cut the guys some slack!'.'Maybe he was taking a big shit or maybe his brother was involved in an accident...'I think the latter excuse is taking it a bit too far ;)Then he said 'He's taking it slow because he doesn't want to scare you off. He doesn't want to come across as desperate. He's building enough courage to ask you out.'That sounds fair...Here's the swing-whilst the girls are waiting for the response and getting piffed with the long wait...The guys don't want to come across as desperate...That doesn't sound like a compatible balance... uh oh.

I am so full.I need to go on a healthy diet right now.Today I ate all sweet sweet sugary stuffs......I had a chocolate chip banana bread- it was baked by my doctor.Then, another nurse went to bake cookies in the kitchen. So I had helpings of oatmeal raisin choc chip cookies... fresh from the oven :)Then we had lunch from the talk. So I had a multitude of sandwiches and lots of the dessert- raspberry cream cheese pie, chocolate marble brownie and the blueberry/choc tart :)Oh joyful sin :)Then, turns out to be my landlord's 55th birthday, so lots of carbo for dinner- Argentinian style... and a big chunk of chocolate cake with whipped cream.I feel fat right now.And gluttony...
Time to whip my ass back to shape and start moving more...

Friends used to tease me for falling for the 'bad' boys.They say girls like to date the naughty ones, but ultimately, they bring home the good boys ;)
So to my all 'good' guy friends, don't worry, the girls will come falling for ya... LoL ;) as long as you are sincere.
Here's my psychiatrist's viewpoint- *sorry la...I'm doing psych now, I have to incorporate some psych stuff in*Borderline personality girls tend to fall for antisocial boys.Antisocial boys = always breaking the rules. They're reckless, impulsive, always getting in trouble with the law and never feeling any remorse.
Borderline girls = emotionally labile, tries to avoid real/imagined abandonment in any way.
Whereas...Antisocial boys tend to go after dependent girls.
I find that pretty interesting :)
I admitted 3 suicidal patients yesterday. And went to bed @4.30am.The last patient was suicidal because his 16 year old teenage daughter committed suicide two days ago. ...if only they know ending their lives make it so painful for their loved ones to go on.
